Nathalia is a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist in New York, and a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Nathalia earned a Master of Sciences degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University, and a Bachelor of Sciences in Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology, with a focus in Psychology, Special Education, and Hispanic Studies from Marymount Manhattan College.
Nathalia is a Level I Prompt trained therapist with experience in the assessment and treatment of children with various speech and language disorders. However, she specializes in feeding and swallowing therapy among all ages. Nathalia has extensive experience with individuals who present with feeding aversions, are considered “picky eaters,” or who predominately are gavage-fed (i.e. nutrition via gastric tube).
Additionally, Nathalia is currently acts a Clinical Supervisor at Marymount Manhattan College, and has served as a Speech Language Pathologist with Operation Smile in South America.
